We aim to support and encourage students to gain strength, creativity and confidence as well as developing self-discipline, musicality and a joy of dance.

Madelaine Price - Principal and Dance Teacher

Madelaine trained for 9 years at Elmhurst School for Dance graduating with a Diploma in Dance. 

 

She went on to continue her dance training and education at the University of Surrey, Roehampton graduating with a BA Hons in Dance Studies.

Madelaine then embarked on her teaching qualifications with the Royal Academy of Dance graduating with a Certificate in Dance Teaching Studies. 

Further training has included the Ballet Education Practice course with Royal Ballet School and Royal Opera House.

Madelaine holds her IDTA Associate Certificate.

Along with being a licensed Silver Swans Teacher and Melody Bear Teacher.

Madelaine has enjoyed a career in dance teaching with the Royal Opera House on some of their dance education projects, Northern Ballet Company with their ballet workshops for children and the Joanne Ward Dance Academy where she taught ballet, jazz and tap.

Nickie Whitehead - Drama Teacher

Nicola has a BA Hons Degree in English and Drama from Surrey University, Roehampton. She went on to train as an actress at Mountview Theatre School, gaining a Post-Graduate Diploma in Acting. As well as working as an actress for a number of years, she has taught drama to children of all ages in many theatre schools, such as The Millfield Theatre, the Camberley Theatre and the Anna Fiorentini Film and Theatre School in London as well teaching drama and directing musicals in theatre groups and schools around the country.

Nicola is also an experienced LAMDA teacher and has taught LAMDA at all levels from Entry through to Gold Medal and has recently taught LAMDA at certificate Level at Rugby School in Warwickshire.

Nicola believes strongly in working to high standards, whilst respecting the boundaries of each individual. She aims for children to have fun in her classes and loves to see them develop their communications skills and grow in confidence.

Ruth Galliers - Drama Teacher

Ruth is a successful actress working in the UK and internationally.

She has been acting professionally for 18 years in Television, film, theatre and voice-over work.

 

Ruth trained full time at Sylvia Young Theatre School when she was a youngster and then went on to complete her training at the prestigious Guildford School Of Acting.

 

She has had world class acting training herself and would like to share her knowledge and experience to help children to reach their full potential.

 

Ruth is passionate about giving children a safe and free environment to express themselves, have fun and grow in confidence.
